The Republicans find a Black Man
Herman "who am I" Cain Announces Presidential Candidacy

As W might say, "He's all hat and no cattle."
The GOP's barren ploys are amusing. Obama becomes President, they elevate Michael Steele to Chairman of the Republican National Committee. So far none of their Presidential candidates have really gained any significant traction. So, what do they do? They throw out another black man who has never held elective office as their potential standard bearer for President. President of the United States of America in effect makes one leader of the free world. So yes, unless you have crawled under a rock or been elevated to heaven already during this rapturous Saturday, Herman Cain has announced his candidacy for President.
The man has never been elected to anything. And even within his own party many folks would not vote for him in significant enough numbers so I suspect I will be mirred in a snowball fight in hell with Satan before I witness his inauguration. But Herman Cain is black. Did I tell you that Herman Cain is black? Yes siree, we have us here a genuine black candidate from the Republican party. He is so darn good that Republicans never got around to electing him to anything, but he looks fine in a suit and worked at some pretty impressive corporations.
Yes siree, what we have us here a genuine black candidate from the Republican party.
We just saw no damn reason to elect him down in Georgia before. Senator? No. Governor? No Mayor? No. City Council? No. County Sheriff? No. Head of the PTA? No. Ok but did I tell you he is black? And that he smoked some white stiff's in the first Republican debate in 2011?
And Republican pollster Frank Luntz thinks that he saw something at that debate he never saw before. I would argue that what he saw was simply a black man in a suit standing on stage with a bunch of white men running for President. And maybe in the end that is an accomplishment in and of itself. They are looking for black men down in Georgia, only they are doing so without a posse and without any rope. Thank the good lord for that.
My friends, Herman Cain may in fact be a decent man, but the truth is, Herman Cain is all sound bites and hyperbole. Have no doubts, this is yet another bad joke coming out of Georgia, the first one was a Newt. I am waiting next for Al Jolson in black face to appear on stage next when Herman Cain's poll numbers begin their inevitable plunge. As Jay Bookman of the Atlanta Journal Constitution stated "Herman Cain Isn't legitimate Presidential candidate".
