Sketches released of suspects in attack on Bridgewater State student

Rally planned for Tuesday

 Police have released sketches of the pair who allegedly assaulted a Bridgewater State University student who had written a column supporting same-sex marriage in the campus newspaper. 

 According to that same paper, The Comment, police are looking for a a white female with pale skin, between the ages of 18 and 33, about 5'2" with dyed red  hair in ringlet curls, past shoulder length, with a large square-shaped nose stud in her right nostril, and a white male about the same age, about 6'1" with a thin build and short, dark hair.

 Destinie Mogg-Barkalow was allegedly attacked Thursday night in a campus parking lot by two people who asked if she had written a column supporting gay marriage.

Destinie Mogg-Barkalow, who writes for the Bridgewater State University newspaper (the Comment) had written an article supportive of same sex marriage, called "Prop 8 Generates More Hate." True to her word, she was assaulted on campus last Thursday night.

When she said told the pair she was the author of the column the woman reportedly punched her, and then fled.

A rally in support of Mogg-Barkalow is planned for Tuesday, according to The Comment.
