Bay Area’s Ames center helped NASA land 4.5 billion-year-old asteroid chunks

There’s a miniscule chance the ancient asteroid Bennu will hit Earth in the 22nd century. NASA just landed some of its rocks in Utah, with a Bay Area research center’s help.
