Police on Friday swarmed the scene of an “active shooter” situation they said was unfolding near a Planned Parenthood center in Colorado Springs, and the Denver Post reported that at least one officer had been wounded by gunfire. The Colorado Springs Police Department said in a Twitter post that a call for assistance referred to a person firing a gun in the city’s northwest, on Centennial Boulevard, where the Planned Parenthood office is located.
